Headlight restoration
Why restore your headlights in Huntington Beach?

Brighter light at night
A cloudy lens scatters the beam. A clear one puts the light back on the road, where you need it on dark streets and wet nights.
A newer-looking car
Clear lenses make the whole front of the car look fresher, and the rest of the car looks better kept beside them.
Sealed against the sun
A UV-resistant clear coat helps the lens stay clear for longer, so the restored lens keeps looking new.
How it works
How we restore your headlights
Headlight lenses are plastic, and the sun slowly turns their outer layer cloudy and yellow. We take that worn layer off and bring the lens back to clear. It’s the same lens, made clear again, so nothing on the car needs replacing.
We tape off the paint around each light, sand the lens smooth, polish it clear and finish it with a UV-resistant clear coat. Most cars are done the same day.

Questions
Headlight restoration questions
Why do headlights go cloudy?
Headlight lenses are plastic. Years of sun break down their outer layer, which turns cloudy and yellow.
How long does headlight restoration take?
Most cars are done the same day. We’ll tell you how long yours will take when we book you in.
Will the headlights go cloudy again?
We finish each lens with a UV-resistant clear coat to help it stay clear for longer. Parking out of the sun helps too.
Can you come to me?
Yes. Bring your car to our Huntington Beach workshop, or we can come to your home or work when that’s easier.
Do you restore both headlights?
Yes. We always do both, so they match. One clear lens beside a cloudy one would make the front of the car look uneven.
Can every headlight be restored?
Most can. If a lens is only cloudy or yellowed on the outside, restoring it brings it back to clear. If a lens is cracked or has water inside it, it needs replacing, and we’ll tell you so when we see it.
